I’m Olivia (but you can call me Liv)—and I’m obsessed with weddings. Seriously, I’m a total sucker for the magic of it all. The music, the vows, the flowers, the dress—you name it, I’m here for it. But more than anything, it’s the emotion of the day that gets me every time. Whether it's hearing about how you met your partner or imagining the moment you walk down the aisle, I get all the feels.

As a former 2022 bride myself, I get it. I know what it’s like to plan a wedding, juggle the details, and most importantly, how important it is to look and feel your absolute best on your big day. With years of experience in bridal makeup, I’ve helped countless brides like you feel confident, gorgeous, and most importantly, built a relationship with one another where you feel you can be totally honest with me about what you want for your make-up, and what, if any, tweaks you want to make.

The booking process

I pride myself in offering a professional, friendly service from start to finish. I’m organised, understanding and welcoming. I love making my clients feel their very best and meeting new people!

I’m super organised and like to think I have a seamless booking process. To begin your bridal make-up journey with me, fill in the enquiry form below and it will ping me an e-mail of your wedding date.

I’ll get in touch with you as to whether I am available on your date and if I am, you will be sent to a secret page within this website exclusively for my future bridal bookings. This has a second, in depth booking form and details on the payment and payment details, you will then receive your online bridal guide written by me with all my tips and tricks that I’ve learnt over the last 9 years doing Bridal Make-up. Every bride that reads this LOVES it!

You will then use my booking system to book yourself in a bridal trial at my salon in Corfe Mullen, and when we meet here we go over every tiny detail of your wedding. I will ensure I have the correct location on my Google Maps to follow, know where to park my car, if there’s a ticket machine and how long it will take me to get there and usually add 45 minutes and sit in my car mega early as I hate being late! It couldn’t be easier.

I have a huge variety of clients and will adapt my style to fit your needs. I have clients from 16 all the way up to 80! I’m a massive believer in loving yourself and building up your confidence! I am your number one hype girl. It breaks my heart when clients are self-conscious about their looks so I absolutely love being able to help you help you feel a million bucks on your wedding day.

I myself am a chronic people pleaser so I know how British we can all be about being over polite when we’re not happy with a service so I love that everything I offer can be tweaked, I haven’t injected anyone or chopped their hair off so I love coaxing people out their comfort zone to tell me how they really want it to look and I love that we then find the perfect look together! It’s all about being honest and communicating, if you give me the respect of being honest during your appointment I will never, ever be offended - I love having your input as the customer is always right after all and we can find a harmony between my skills and your preference.

I am proud to admit that the future brides that I attract the most are ones that want a natural make-up look - I think this is due to my portfolio and brides looking so natural when photographed. This simply means that I am good at make-up! Everything is complimentary to the skin tone, blended well and flatters the bride herself. I am capable of doing everything from very natural to the most utmost glam looks. I will advise that regardless of what make-up look you want, good skincare is imperitive. Not necessarily skin that is perfect but just well looked after. Even the most acne prone skin, if well looked after, can have beautiful make-up. Likewise, a more mature skin with fine lines and wrinkles, it’s crucial you need to be moisturised! If you need tips on skincare please get in touch. This cost covers:

All admin, local travel (Wimborne, Poole, Dorchester, Christchurch), the exclusive use of the make-up artist on your wedding day, mobile make-up service including lighting and make-up chair PLUS your online bridal guide RRP £19.99 , handwritten by me, e-mailed to you full of tips about your trial and wedding day.

The payment of this fee secures your booking date. Without this payment your booking is not confirmed. This fee does not come off the total of your wedding it is a stand alone fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

“What’s included at the trial?”

The ideal time for a trial is about 6 months before the wedding. The trial session will include analysing your skin type, finding your perfect make-up look and discussing the details of your wedding morning.

A bridal trial will take a short while longer than a standard make-up look as we want to ensure all your concerns and interests are covered, so an hour and a half of my time is plenty for a discussion, a full make-up and time for any tweaks or changes to be made.

It is common for most brides to create a Pinterest board which helps us create the perfect look as we have a visual representation of the look you desire or you can reference previous looks/brides I have personally done.

The studio is open 9-3 everyday and has room for family and friends to attend with you. Please detail in your enquiry e-mail when you are available to attend a trial - it’s nice to tie it in with a special occasion or evening plans so that it’s not wasted. Please arrive fresh faced with no make-up on.

“How long do you need to do the make-up?”

Once I have arrived at the venue it takes 15 minutes to set up my make-up, light and chair. I then allocate 40 minutes per person and 1 hour for the bride. Please let me know in advance if you would like me to stay for touch ups once your dress is on.

“I just want my make-up done for just me for my wedding at the salon, its a Saturday in June, is that ok?”

I will not take singular bookings for Saturdays during peak wedding season, I have the salon booked out on Saturday mornings between May and September specifically for Bridal parties of 4 or more adults. To book with me you would need to book your 3 bridesmaids/mum too. The minimum booking for a Saturday morning in wedding season is £290. If it is a weekday or Sunday or off-peak Saturday and you want your bridal make-up done in the salon you can just use the booking system to book Special Occasion Make-up for £50.

“I have someone else doing my bridal make-up but I need to book you to help with the bridesmaids”

This is absolutely fine - I love assisting other make-up artists. You will need to still pay the booking fee (£70) which covers admin and travel, you will still receive your bridal guide and I will still need to have a minimum of 4 adults for the booking. Your booking would therefore be a minimum of £290.

“Why is your Bridal make-up so cheap, I see others for £150-200”

A lot of the time other make-up artists will list Bridal make-up with the admin and travel fees incorporated. So when you see Bridal Make-up as £150 they’ve actually bundled together the price of the make-up application, travel and admin together.

A lot of other make-up artists will also ask for a £50 deposit and this amount comes off the total at the end.

I have chosen to have a booking fee plus the make-up application separately, because I still require admin and travel if I am just doing, for example, four bridesmaids and not the Bride and also bridge the gap between brides and bridesmaids make-up that I offer.

My bridal price is £65 and bridesmaids £55 because I take slightly longer on the bride than bridesmaids, but I still use the exact same prep products, make-up, brushes and brands on the bride as I do on the bridesmaids so I prefer to demonstrate this by having their make-up applications similar in price.

Personally, if I were a bride and saw my bridal make-up listed as £150 and my bridesmaids as £55 I would expect a totally different service and make-up application but really, other MUA’s have just included their travel and admin in that £150 and the make-up is the same.

If I listed a bridal price and had a “deposit comes off the total” structure my bridal price would effectively be £135 and you would take the £70 off at the end.


“What if I don’t normally wear much make-up - I still want to look like myself”

Natural make-up for your wedding day is totally achievable, with light application but durable products we can ensure you look glowing but still yourself.

“What do you need when you come to the wedding to do our make-up?”

I just need a table to put my make-up out on. I bring my own ring light and stool so you don’t need to worry about lighting or seating. In the middle of summer ideally not in the conservatory if you have one - we get hot left in there all day! The kitchen or lounge is perfect.

“My Mum doesn’t want it to look heavy, she’s nervous to have her make-up done”

Professional make-up application is foreign to the older generation so I definitely get this a lot - but don’t worry. I have been taught the tips and tricks of mature make-up application. You’re in safe hands! I like to really understand what they are used to wearing and stick to keeping it natural. Alternatively, a trial for the Mother of the Bride is £40 and can attend the Bridal trial at the same time.

“I hate wearing lashes, do I have to have them?”

This is something 80% of my brides say. I can guarantee the reason they hate lashes is because every time they have tried them they have used the glue incorrectly, the lashes haven’t been cut to size properly or applied correctly. I have a wide range of lashes, including individual lashes, all that are applied seamlessly. In my professional opinion lashes are essential - if you don’t like strip lashes I can recommend a semi-permanent lash technician.

“What about lipstick, do I have to buy the one you use?”

No, every bride and bridesmaid is left with a small pot of the lipstick I have applied in a little organza bag perfect to pop in your clutch. If you’d rather buy your own - please bring your favourite shade to your trial.
